Brunswick woman life-flighted after motorcycle crash

A Brunswick resident was hurt when the motorcycle she was operating ran off a lettered route in Chariton County, throwing her off the vehicle.

55-year-old Debrah Berry of Brunswick was flown by medical helicopter to University Hospital at Columbia with serious injuries.

The accident late Saturday morning was two miles east of Sumner on Route E.

The northbound motorcycle was demolished.

Ms. Berry was wearing safety equipment.
