The Highway Patrol reports a Brookfield woman sustained minor injuries in a three-vehicle accident involving a farm tractor in Carroll County on Friday morning.

A private vehicle transported 32-year-old Briannie Stephens to the Carroll County Memorial Hospital of Carrollton. The driver of the tractor, 56-year-old Jeffery Harper of Carrollton, and the driver of the other vehicle, 73 year old Gary Renzelman of Carrollton, were reported as not injured.

The vehicle driven by Renzelman traveled east on Route CC before allegedly failing to stop and yield to the vehicle driven by Stephens headed north on Highway 65. Stephens’s vehicle struck the passenger side of Renzelman’s before Stephens’s vehicle came to rest blocking the northbound lane of U. S. 65. Renzelman’s vehicle continued and slid into the tractor in the westbound lane of Route CC.

The Patrol notes each driver wore a safety device, and Carroll County deputies assisted at the scene of the crash.
