Sentencing was held yesterday in Milan for a Brookfield man who had pleaded guilty to two felony counts of assault on a law enforcement officer.
52-year-old Danny Gardner has been sentenced to 65 months in the custody of the Missouri Department of Corrections. The sentences given in both cases are to be served concurrently.
Gardner was accused in an incident June 13 of last year involving Brookfield Police. He received a change of venue from Linn County. Gardner pleaded guilty in early January with the sentence handed down on Tuesday by Circuit Court Judge Terry Tschannen.
