A Brookfield man was injured when he was thrown from an all-terrain vehicle Sunday.
The accident happened on private property two miles north of Marceline causing 24-year-old Joshua Molloy moderate injuries. He was taken by private vehicle to the Samaritan Hospital.
The highway patrol reports the ATV was northbound, traveling up a hill, when the weight of a spray tank, mounted on the back of the all-terrain vehicle, caused the ATV to overturn, ejecting the driver.
Damage was minor for the ATV in the accident at 11 o’clock Sunday morning.
Molloy was not using a safety device according to the accident report.
