The Bright Futures Bulldog Challenge during the basketball games at Gallatin High School on January 4th raised $4,385 total. That is enough to fund 11 and a half beds for the Beds for Bulldogs Fund for Bright Futures in Trenton and Gallatin.

Bright Futures Gallatin reports the first bed was delivered, and the student and his family were happy.

Gate admission from the basketball games went towards Beds for Bulldogs. The branches of Farmers Bank of Northern Missouri in Trenton and Gallatin each donated $500 to the initiative, and Farmers Bank matched community donations of $1,000.

Scott Roy Auctions donated the first bed set, and Wesley United Methodist Church of Trenton is storing beds.

Bright Futures Gallatin notes the beds will ensure students in Trenton and Gallatin who need beds will have them.
