The Highway Patrol reports a boy from Breckenridge sustained serious injuries when an all-terrain vehicle struck him as he crossed the street in Breckenridge Thursday evening.
Fourteen-year-old Eric Morgan walked from south to north across Main Street east of Sixth Street when the westbound ATV hit him. The driver of the ATV is listed as 14-year-old Caden Warren of Breckenridge.
Life Flight Eagle transported Morgan to Children’s Mercy in Kansas City, Missouri.
The Patrol reports Warren received no injuries, and he did not wear a safety device at the time of the accident.
