A bond hearing was held in the Associate Division of Clinton County Circuit Court this week for a Cameron woman facing felony possession of child pornography, first offense.

The judge ordered bond be reduced to $500 cash only for Leda Jewell Powell. Conditions include supervision, not working with anyone younger than 17 years old, no contact with co-defendant Anthony Charles Gross, and no contact with Angela Tustison.

Powell posted the cash bond in the full amount, she was previously being held on no bond. Powell is scheduled for a confined docket hearing on March 25th.

Co-defendant Anthony Gross has been charged with three felony counts of possession of child pornography, second or subsequent offense or possession of more than 20 pictures, one film, or videotape. No bond is listed. He is scheduled for a preliminary hearing on April 15th.

Clinton County Sheriff’s Office Major AJ Carrel previously reported Powell and Gross were charged after the sheriff’s office and Western Missouri Cyber Crimes Task Force received a cyber tip from Google in reference to possible child pornography.
