The Highway Patrol reports that it responded to just south of Polo Friday morning at the request of the Caldwell County Sheriff’s Office after a body was located in the water at Hide-A-Way Lakes.
Troop H marine enforcement troopers recovered the body of a white male.
The Highway Patrol’s Division of Drug and Crime Control investigators are leading an investigation. An autopsy is pending, and further information is to be provided when it becomes available.
