A Linn County crash on Wednesday night one mile east of the Marceline Junction injured a truck driver from Cameron.
Sixty six-year-old Robert Ellison received minor injuries and was taken by an ambulance to Pershing Memorial Hospital.
Ellison was driving a Freightliner truck eastbound when it traveled off the right side of Highway 36 and went down an embankment causing the tractor and trailer to jackknife.
Investigators report Ellison was using a seat belt and the big rig was demolished in the 8:20 Wednesday night crash.
Assistance at the scene of the crash was provided by the Linn County Sheriff’s Department and Marceline first responders.
