Bethany woman injured in overnight accident

Traffic accident

A one-vehicle accident early this (Friday) morning injured a Bethany woman.  Approximately three miles south of Bethany, the Highway Patrol reports that a pickup truck driven by 46-year old Cynthia Lee was eastbound on 330th Street when she lost control on the gravel surface.

The truck went off the north side of the road, spun 180 degrees, and hit a tree.  Cynthia Lee received moderate injuries, according to the report, and was transferred by ambulance to Harrison County Community Hospital in Bethany.  She was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident, just past 1 o’clock Friday morning.  The pickup truck was demolished.
