A Bethany resident was injured early Wednesday when the vehicle she was driving went off Highway 36, impacted the ground, and came to a stop in the median of the divided highway, one mile west of Stewartsville.
Thirty-seven-year-old Christian Crossley was taken by ambulance to Mosaic Life Care in St. Joseph with serious injuries.
A trooper reported Crossley was not using a seat belt. The sports utility vehicle was demolished.
Assistance was provided by the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Department.
