Donations nearly doubled the goal when the Trenton Area Ministerial Alliance held their annual baked potato bar and pie auction Friday night in Trenton.
Pastor Ron Ratliff of the 10th Street Baptist Church is a spokesman for the ministerial alliance.
Ratliff expressed appreciation to the community for assisting in raising over $3,900 for the Good Samaritan fund which helps those in the community who need extra help to pay utility bills.
