The governor says major accomplishments have been made in the latest meeting with the Corps of Engineers about Missouri River flooding.

Governor Parson, the governors of Iowa and Nebraska – along with the Kansas Lieutenant Governor – met again on Friday in Iowa with Corps of Engineers officials. Parson says they agreed to come up with short, medium and long term plans.  Plans could include partial levy breaches to help remove flood water from land.

Last week, the Missouri Senate passed a state budget that includes eight-million dollars in flood aid.
