Highway Patrol Sergeant Eric Brown says the roadway traffic rivals that of Thanksgiving and Memorial Day.

Many hunters are headed to Missouri’s woods tomorrow for the start of the firearms deer hunting season. Highway Patrol Sergeant Eric Brown says motorists should be prepared.

The season runs through November 20. The Missouri Department of Conservation will be conducting mandatory chronic wasting disease sampling this weekend of deer harvested in 31 counties.
