Missouri Farm Service Agency Director Brent Hampy says county office staffers are working hard to get farmers the programs they need – now that the federal government is fully open.

Hampy says the amount of work being done at each office depends on the circumstances in each county.

The second payments to farmers for financial losses from America’s trade war are on track and are going out to farmers. Brent Hampy says county office employees are working diligently to get farmers the programs they need.

Most of the agency’s program deadlines have been moved to February 14 since the offices are open again. That date is before the potential of another government shutdown.
