The opening ceremony for the Missouri Day Festival in Trenton will be held at the First Baptist Church in Trenton the night of October 19th.
Trenton Area Chamber of Commerce President Debbie Carman says the night will start with a soup supper.
The opening ceremony will be held in the church’s sanctuary at 7 o’clock.
Carman says the Chamber chose Trenton R-9 School Superintendent Dan Wiebers and North Central Missouri College President Doctor Lenny Klaver to speak during the opening ceremony due to the festival’s theme: Missouri Day Salutes Education.
