A magician will provide entertainment at the Green Hills Animal Shelter’s Annual Chili Supper Fundraiser.

Curtis Sneden of Topeka plans to perform magic one-on-one with attendees and do a show for the group at the chili supper. The event will be held in the Activity Center of the First Christian Church of Trenton the night of November 10th from 6 to 8 o’clock.

Sneden says he learned magic and illusion primarily through books and spent time at the McBride Magic and Mystery School in Las Vegas where he studied magic with magicians from all over the world. The school is lead by headliner Jeff McBride.

Sneden performed on Fremont Street in Las Vegas and at a rescue mission in Topeka a few times each year.

Sneden says he uses audience participation because it helps engage audience members’ senses and also helps him connect with the audience. His bucket list includes having his own show in Las Vegas.
