The friends of the Jewett Norris Library sponsor a dinner tonight with a program to follow that features a Green City resident who overcame his handicap of having just one arm, to become a national champion in archery.
Dan Wilford of Laredo is president of the Friends of the Library organization.
The 13th annual community appreciation dinner at Grundy County Jewett Norris Library begins at 6 o’clock this evening. Tickets, which cost 15 dollars, were sold for the meal. The program with Carroll Walker, in the Hoover Theatre, is free admission.
