The speaker at this year’s Better Woman Conference at Trenton is an assistant pastor at the Mountain Park Church in Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada.
Trenton First Assembly of God Children’s Pastor Erin Ferguson says Brenda Drost teaches at that church, travels, and brings challenging messages to help people live out their faith.
The Better Woman Conference will be held at the Trenton First Assembly of God Church on March 13th and 14th. Doors will open at the church’s Family Activity Center that Friday evening at 5 o’clock for women to visit various vendors. The men of the church will serve the dinner to the women at 6 o’clock. It will include pasta with meatballs, green beans, rolls, and cupcakes.
Doors will open at the Family Activity Center that Saturday morning at 8 o’clock, and a continental breakfast will be served at 8:30. A breakfast buffet will include biscuits and gravy, baked fruit oatmeal, half and cheese egg casserole, fruit, and sweetbreads.
The services with Drost will be held in the church sanctuary immediately following the meals.
Drost says her father was a pastor, and she has stepped into church leadership and ministry. She leads at the Mountain Park Church in a variety of ways, and one of her favorite ways is mentoring women, however, she says that we cannot compartmentalize faith.

The Better Woman Conference will also include a photo booth, door prizes from community merchants, and free child care in the First Assembly of God church building. There is also room for a few more vendors. Conference Coordinator Darcie Taylor asks that women wanting to use the child care or vendors interested in attending contact the church or comment on the conference’s Facebook page.
Tickets for the event March 13th and 14th cost $20.00. Taylor notes any woman who purchases tickets at the same time for a table of eight will receive a free ticket, and a table will be reserved.
Tickets can be purchased at the First Assembly of God’s office Monday through Thursday from 9 to 4 o’clock and Friday from 9 o’clock to noon. Women can also reserve tickets by calling the church at 660-359-4400 or commenting on Facebook.
