Associate Division of Grundy County circuit court has light docket

The Associate Division of Grundy County Circuit court saw a light docket on Tuesday.

Among cases processed Tuesday in the Associate Division of Grundy County Circuit Court, Trenton resident Jeffrey Chad Corbin waived a preliminary hearing and had his case bound over to November 15th in Division One of circuit court. Corbin faces charges of the felony of possession of a controlled substance except 35 grams or less of marijuana/synthetic cannabinoid.

Trenton resident Denell Berry pleaded guilty to attempted stealing, fourth or subsequent stealing offense within 10 years. She was sentenced to two months in the Grundy County Detention Center. Execution of the sentence was suspended. Then she was placed on probation for one year and is to pay $100 to the Grundy County Law Enforcement Fund and court costs.

Tony Stanley of Trenton faces two felony counts: fourth-degree child molestation and endangering the welfare of a child. His preliminary hearing is scheduled November 13th in the associate division.
