Area veterans encouraged to attend meetings in Trenton and Chillicothe on benefit changes

Meetings will be held in Chillicothe and Trenton to address VA Community Care and veterans benefits changes.

Veterans are invited to the Grand River Multipurpose Center in Chillicothe March 5^th from 2 to 4 o’clock. Discussion at that meeting is to include the VA mobile clinic stopping area visits as of April 1^st. A free shuttle will be available from Trenton to that meeting.

Doctors and medical clinics interested in becoming VA Community Care providers are asked to come to the Trenton First Baptist Church Fellowship Hall on March 13^th from noon to 5 o’clock.

The VA is transitioning from Tri-West to the Optum insurance network on March 1^st.
