Boy, Girl and Cub Scouts from the Trenton area will participate in the annual Scouting for Food Campaign to benefit the Grundy County Food Pantry.

Scouts are asked to meet in the Fellowship Hall of Wesley United Methodist Church in Trenton Saturday morning at 9 o’clock prior to hanging tags on doors.

Scout Master Dean Sager asks participating residents to place nonperishable food and toiletry items to be donated in a bag or box on their porch with their door tag the morning of November 3rd.  The collection starts at 9 o’clock.

Nonperishable food items to be collected include canned meats, vegetables, and soups as well as boxes of Hamburger, Tuna, or Chicken Helper; cereals; or crackers. Other items to be collected include paper products, cleaning supplies, and personal toiletries.

Contact Scout Master Dean Sager at 660-359-4294 for more information.
