Area FFA teams place well in competition at Lathrop

FFA teams and members from area schools did well in various career development judging events Monday in Lathrop.

Princeton FFA had first place teams in horses and meats; second place in dairy cattle, soils, and FFA knowledge.

Trenton high school had a judging team place second in meats and fifth in the knowledge category.

North Harrison of Eagleville had teams place third in entomology; fourth in dairy cattle, and livestock; fifth in meats.

Milan had an FFA team win first place in livestock judging; while another team took fifth in horses.

Jamesport Tri-County was third in knowledge and fourth in horses.

Gallatin was second in agronomy. Braymer won first place in nursery-landscape.

Individually from the immediate area: Madyson Williams of Grundy R-5 School won 1st place in meats judging; Emily Kasinger of Trenton was 2nd; followed by Princeton students Jaelyn Thomas, Blaine Milburn and Logan Dunkin 3rd through 5th.

Other Princeton FFA members Vivian Allen, Chandler Anderson, and Alison Batson placed 1st through 3rd in horses. James Lehman of Princeton was 4th in soils judging.

Clayton Moore of the Milan C-2 high school was 3rd high individual in livestock.
