Area FFA chapters qualify for state in Northwest District Career Development Events

Multiple area FFA chapters had teams qualify for state judging in the Missouri Northwest District Career Development Events Tuesday.

Teams ranking in the top five in their CDEs and qualifying for state include three from Chillicothe, five for Hamilton, two for Gilman City, one for Gallatin, one for Braymer, four for Cameron, one for Winston, one for South Harrison, two for North Harrison, and three for Princeton.

The Gilman City FFA Chapter had one team place first in Farm Management and one team place third in Dairy Foods.

Princeton FFA had one team place first in Livestock, one place second in Horse, and one fifth in Soils.

North Harrison FFA had one team place first in Horse and one third in Livestock.

One Hamilton FFA team placed first in Nursery/Landscape, while others placed third in Farm Management, fourth in Agronomy, fourth in Soils, and fifth in Entomology. One Chillicothe FFA team placed first in Poultry, one placed second in Livestock, and another third in Agronomy. The Braymer Entomology team placed second.

Cameron FFA had one team place second in Poultry, one third in Entomology, one third in Horse, and one fourth in Nursery/Landscape. The Gallatin FFA Dairy Foods team placed fourth. The Winston Entomology team placed fourth.

The South Harrison Farm Management team placed fourth.
