The Green Hills Women’s Shelter will hold its Annual Chief’s Tea next month to promote awareness of domestic and sexual violence in the area.

Spokesperson Laurie Stevenson says someone who came to the shelter for help escaping an abusive relationship will speak at the luncheon. There will also be a silent auction.

A Green Hills Women’s Shelter representative says tickets for the Chief’s Tea on April 3rd will cost $25.00 per person or $125.00 for a table of six.

Contact the shelter for more information at 660-359-3297.
