Ameren Missouri files to construct wind generation facility in Atchison County

Union Electric Company, doing business as Ameren Missouri, has filed an application with the Missouri Public Service Commission to establish a wind farm in extreme northwest Missouri.

The utility company is seeking a certificate of convenience and necessity to construct, own and operate an approximate 157-megawatt wind generation facility in Atchison County.

Applications to participate in this case must be filed no later than November 2nd with the Secretary of the Missouri Public Service Commission, P.O. Box 360, Jefferson City, Missouri 65102-0360, or by using the Commission’s Electronic Filing and Information System (EFIS) at psc.mo.gov.

Ameren Missouri serves one and a quarter million (1.26 million) electric customers in Missouri.
