An Altamont man accused of stealing dirt bikes in 2018 has been sentenced in Division One of Daviess County Circuit Court.

The court revoked probation for Brandon Pooler on two felony counts of first degree tampering with a motor vehicle, and his previously imposed sentence of five years on each count in the Missouri Department of Corrections was ordered executed.

On the felonies of first degree tampering with a motor vehicle and stealing, the court revoked the suspended imposition of sentence, and he was sentenced to the Department of Corrections for five years on each count.

In another case, the court revoked Pooler’s suspended execution of sentence on felony resisting or interfering with an arrest for a felony, and he was sentenced to three years. He waived formal arraignment and pleaded guilty to felony third-degree assault in another case and was sentenced to the Department of Corrections for four years. He was ordered to pay all court costs and board bill in that case, and civil judgment was entered against Pooler for the Crime Victims Compensation Fund of $10.

The sentences are to run consecutively to all other sentences, and shock incarceration of 120 days was ordered on all of the cases.
