An Albany native has been elected to the Board of Directors of the Community Foundation of Northwest Missouri.

Ted Place is the Chief Development Officer for Kansas City Public Television, 90.9 The Bridge and The Hale Center for Journalism.

Place has over fifteen years of experience in fund raising and development. He is an alumnus of the Kansas City Chamber of Commerce Centurions Program.

Place is a graduate of Northwest Missouri State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism and Broadcasting. He and his family reside in the Kansas City area.

His father, the late Chuck Place, was one of the founders of the Community Foundation of Northwest Missouri.

There are 22 other area leaders on the governing board of the Community Foundation serving 18 counties of northwest Missouri.

Randall has been with KTTN/KGOZ for almost 20 years. He is the current Engineer for all of the stations, as well as working "on-air" from 6 to 10, am in the morning. Randall does a bit of everything including producing advertisements as well as writing the occasional news article. Randall is also the current Webmaster for the studio as well as the local graphic artist.
