Albany man crashes on Route A south of Evona; patrol accuses him of DWI

An Albany man was injured early Tuesday morning in a single-vehicle accident in rural Gentry county.

Twenty-seven-year-old Tyler Parkhurst was southbound when his car went off the west side of Route A and struck a tree.

Parkhurst received serious injuries and was taken by ambulance to the Mosiac Hospital in Albany.

The car was demolished in the wreck at 2:25 am Tuesday, three miles south of Evona.

The highway patrol accused Tyler Parkhurst of driving while intoxicated and failure to maintain to the right half of the road. He was released for medical treatment.
