Livingston County residents at least 60 years old can have questions answered and gather information from three agencies at Aging in Place Livingston County’s Needs Day next week.

Access 2 (II) Disability Services, the Community Action Partnership of North Central Missouri, and the Northwest Missouri Area Agency on Aging will be available at the event at the Livingston County Health Center in Chillicothe October 24th from 10 o’clock in the morning to 3 o’clock in the afternoon. They can help attendees fill out intake forms and provide more information on programs and services that might benefit them.

Access 2 (II) offers services for individuals with disabilities, which include housekeeping and transportation. CAPNCM offers programs such as the Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program and weatherization.

The Northwest Missouri Area Agency on Aging provides services including benefits counseling, congregate and home-delivered meals, transportation, long-term care ombudsman, and family caregiver programs.

Individuals can choose to schedule a 15-minute private appointment with Access 2 (II) or the Northwest Missouri Area Agency on Aging by calling the Health Center at 646-5506.
