Trenton High School FCCLA members Sarah Jordan, Mykah Hurley and Salem Croy, with the help of many Trenton R-IX staff members and parents, planned and hosted the THS After Prom following the dance on April 28th.
The After Prom started at midnight on Sunday lasting until 6 am. Missouri National Guard Staff Sergeant Bain was able to secure the use of an inflatable obstacle course and knocker balls for the event. Activities also included a Mario Kart tournament, games, movies and a photo booth. After hosting several fundraisers during the school year, the students raised money for food, drinks, and prizes which included two apple watches, a shower Bluetooth speaker, Roku streaming stick, gift cards and more. Prizes donated to the event included a coupon for $75 off a senior picture package from The Jpeg Studio. CFM Insurance also donated a $200 Visa gift card.
The students express appreciation to those involved in the planning, preparation and execution of the After Prom, without whom the event would not have been possible.
