Adult and 4 children injured in rollover crash near Eagleville; Driver arrested on assault/careless and imprudent driving

The highway patrol reports an Eagleville man and four children were injured early Thursday evening in a rollover accident on Harrison County Route W.

The highway patrol arrest report accused Daniel Score of driving while intoxicated, four counts of assault, and careless and imprudent driving.  He was later arrested by the highway patrol.

The accident report shows 29-year-old Daniel Score of Eagleville with minor injuries, he refused medical attention at the scene.

The four passengers, 13-year-old Marcus Lopez of Polo, 14-year-old Kaylee Hilburn, 9-year-old Zane Moad, and 6-year-old Autumn Score, all of Eagleville, received minor injuries and were taken to the Harrison County Community Hospital in Bethany.

The car was southbound when it failed to negotiate a curve on Route W, and crossed the center line. The driver over-corrected and the vehicle overturned coming to rest on its top. The automobile was demolished.

The accident happened five miles to the southwest of Eagleville at 5:36 pm Thursday.

All persons were using safety devices.
