Activities abound at the North Central Missouri Fair

The entering of exhibits, a parade, hog roast, and queen coronation are highlighted today for the North Central Missouri Fair in Trenton. Swine will be arriving throughout

Swine will be arriving throughout the day in preparation for the hog show tomorrow in the livestock pavilion.

Anyone may take entries to the Rock Barn today between 8:30 and 5 o’clock to enter as a display in the junior or senior divisions or with creative activities. Items to be displayed in the fine arts room are due today at the Rock Barn between 9 and 2 o’clock.

All items are to have solid frames and be wired for hanging. The fine arts room in the southeast corner of the courtyard will be open evenings from (6 to 9 Tuesday, 5 to 9 others)

The lineup is at 5 o’clock for the parade. The parade, which follows the usual route on the streets of Trenton, begins at 5:30. Dave Burkeybile will broadcast the parade as it passes through downtown Trenton.

Trenton FFA Chapter and Alumni offer a hog roast beginning at 6 o’clock at the fairgrounds with the coronation of the North Central Missouri Fair Queen is at 7 o’clock tonight. Four candidates were judged in Sunday competition. Persons attending this evening are to take lawn chairs for the courtyard ceremony.

Kenny’s Funland returns for the carnival rides and games beginning tonight.
