A total of 52 absentee ballots cast at Grundy County Courthouse

The Grundy County Clerk’s office was open special hours Saturday morning to allow people to vote absentee in Tuesday’s elections.

Six people voted during that four-hour period bringing the total to 52 absentee ballots returned to the clerk’s office in Trenton. Another 12 people have requested an absentee ballot but those ballots have not yet been received at the clerk’s office.

Absentee voting in Tuesday’s elections concludes Monday afternoon, March 2, 2018, at 5 o’clock at county clerk’s offices around the state.

Individuals may vote at the polls Tuesday from 6 in the morning until 7 in the evening.
