The weekend promises to be hectic for those attempting to see everything the Missouri Day Festival in Trenton has to offer this weekend.

Vendors for the Missouri Day Festival will arrive Friday morning and be open for business starting at Noon. 

The Silverado Band will perform at the Missouri Day Dance at the North 65 Center in Trenton Friday evening as well with doors to open at 6 o’clock and the dance running from 7 to 10 o’clock. The admission for the dance is $8.00.

The Missouri Day Festival in Trenton continues Saturday with a multitude of activities.

The annual parade starts Saturday morning at 8:30 with the procession to follow Main and Ninth Streets.  Bands participating in the Trenton Marching Competition will also be featured in the parade.  The marching competition continues after the parade at the C. F. Russell Stadium and the Trenton High School Gym running throughout the day.

Vendors for the Missouri Day Festival will be open for business from 9 o’clock Saturday morning until 8 o’clock in the evening.

The Grundy County Museum will also be open from 2 to 5 o’clock Saturday afternoon.

Sunday is the final day for the Missouri Day Festival in Trenton and the Elks Lodge will hold a car show in downtown Trenton from 9 o’clock Sunday morning until 2 o’clock in the afternoon

Missouri Day vendors will be open for business Sunday from 10 o’clock until 3 o’clock in the afternoon.

Boy Scout Mic-O-Say Dancers will perform at the west walkway of the fairgrounds at 1 o’clock this afternoon.

The Grundy County Museum in Trenton will also be open for its last day of the season from 2 to 5 o’clock on Sunday.
