The highway patrol reports three teenagers received moderate injuries in a single vehicle accident early Sunday morning three miles to the north of Holt.
Taken to the Liberty Hospital were the driver, 18 year old Hunter Darr of Lawson, and passengers: 17 year old Kenneth Breckenridge of Lathrop and 18 year old Destiny Walters also of Lathrop.
The patrol report said a vehicle was northbound on Interstate 35 when the driver apparently fell asleep. The vehicle traveled off the west of the interstate, into the median. It struck a gravel crossover, became airborne, struck the ground, returned to the road coming to a stop on its wheels but facing south in the northbound passing lane.
The vehicle was demolished in the Clinton County accident before 6 am Sunday.
