The Princeton City Council approved a bid for life insurance at its meeting Tuesday evening.
The Mutual of Omaha rate for life insurance was going to increase to $276 per month. The council voted to approve the bid from the Farm Bureau at a rate of $139.77 per month.
The council also approved Coach Thomas Hotmer’s request in changing the date of football karaoke to July 27th.
North Ward council member Tony Johnson and South Ward council member Eddy Oswalt, as well as mayor Kurt Meighen, were sworn in.
The council will discuss the budget the evening of April 23rd at 6 o’clock.
