The Trenton Area Chamber of Commerce will host its Fifth Annual Father Daughter Dance Friday for girls ages three to twelve and their fathers. The dance will be held at the New Hope Training Center across the street from Barnes Greenhouse of Trenton Friday night April 20th from 6 to 8 o’clock.
Chamber Ambassador Crystal Whitaker says other family members can watch the Grand March at 6:15, but then they should leave to allow the fathers and daughters to spend the evening together. She notes there will be a photo booth and a red carpet for the “Trenton Junior Grammys”-themed event.
Whitaker says she enjoys seeing the girls and their fathers dressed up and making a big evening out of the dance and notes anyone who represents a father figure may participate, including family friends and relatives.
The Father-Daughter Dance costs $15 per father-daughter couple and $5 for each additional girl. Refreshments will be served, and each girl will receive a gift.
Whitaker encourages anyone planning to attend to pre-register at the Trenton Area Chamber of Commerce Office at 617 Main Street in Trenton. Those unable to come into the office to pre-register may call 660-359-4324 and pay at the door of the dance.
