The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported an accident involving a 1965 Chevrolet Impala on Highway 36, one mile northeast of Osborn. The incident occurred at approximately 8:03 p.m. on July 7, 2024.

The driver, Randall A. Maddox, 57, of St. Joseph, Missouri, was traveling westbound when his vehicle struck a deer. Maddox sustained moderate injuries and was transported by private vehicle to Cameron Regional Medical Center for treatment.

The Chevrolet Impala sustained moderate damage but was driven from the scene. Maddox was wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident.
