Notice has been given at Chillicothe that 11 offices will be up for election during April 4th balloting.
Candidates can begin filing at the Chillicothe City Hall on Tuesday, December 13th.
To be filled are the positions of Mayor, Councilman-at-Large, and councilmen from the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th wards. Others are for City Auditor, City Clerk, City Treasurer, City Attorney and City Constable.
Candidates can file between 8 and 5 o’clock Monday through Friday (excluding holidays when City Hall is officially closed). Deadline for filing is 5 o’clock on Tuesday, January 17th, 2017. Each candidate shall pay to the City Clerk a filing fee of $20.00.
