Wright Memorial Hospital in Trenton will update its electronic medical record system.

The hospital, as well as physicians and clinicians associated with the Saint Luke’s Health System, will update the system to the Epic Electronic Medical Record October 1.

This will enable family practice providers, specialists, home care, imaging, laboratory, and others associated with the health system to securely share a single health record for every Saint Luke’s patient.

Patients will be able to access their health information, test results, and billing information online through the My Saint Luke’s patient portal or on the My Saint Luke’s app for Apple and Android devices.

Patients will also receive one consolidated bill for services received at the hospital or any other Saint Luke’s Health System facility after October 1.

Patients may need to provide additional information at initial visits following the launch of the system as physicians and clinicians will update records during the transition.

Staff will be available to answer questions patients may have. Wright Memorial Hospital Chief Executive Officer Gary Jordan says Saint Luke’s has successfully used the Epic system since 2014.

Physicians and staff at the hospital have been involved in the development of the electronic medical record workflow and process.
