The 13th Annual Wright Memorial Hospital Foundation Charity Golf Tournament hosted 25 teams at the Riverside Country Club last Friday.
The event raised over $10,000 for the Foundation. The proceeds are earmarked to help the Foundation to purchase equipment for our local hospital.
“The support generated from local businesses, community members and hospital vendors for this tournament are truly amazing and appreciated,” said Gary Jordan, CEO Wright Memorial Hospital. “Your support to our annual event makes a difference in the lives of those we serve. Thank you for your support.”
Dorothy Fries Team comprised of Bill Fries, Evan Fries, and Josh Bushkofski took home A-Flight honors with a round of 56. Second place in the A-Flight was 3 Amigos, comprised of Dave Jennings, Easton Klaver, and Josh Gottman, with a score of 57.
B-Flight and C-Flight were very competitive with winners coming down to individual hole scores to break the multiple ties. The B-Flight finished with a Cox Family Dentistry on top with a 64 and Hy-Vee following in 2nd with a 64.
The C-Flight was taken by Have A Nice Day Anesthesia Associates with a 68 followed by Farmers Bank North Missouri also with a 68.
