Just past midnight, Wednesday, March 17, the state patrol reported a van struck a deer on U-S 65 at Route J.
Taken to Carroll County Memorial Hospital was 49 year old Lori Canipe of Carrollton. The patrol described her injuries as minor.
Driver of the van, 26 year old Tierra Blease of Hale, declined treatment. The van received moderate damage.
