United Way fundraising campaign underway

Grundy County United Way has begun its fundraising campaign with residential canvassing starting this month.

Several local and area organizations receiving funds through the United Way.

Among the 16 groups to receive a share of the funds raised include RSVP, North 65 Center, Grundy County Extension, Juvenile office, Juvenile court diversion program, girl scouts and boy scouts. Others are Wright Memorial forensic nurses, community action partnership office, falls risk coalition, Trenton kids wrestling and football, community food pantry, parents as teachers, children’s’ advocacy center, and the Grundy County 4-H.

Contributions can be mailed to the United Way at post office box 146 in Trenton.
