The Highway Patrol reports a single-vehicle accident claimed the life of a Unionville man Friday morning.
Twenty-nine-year-old Timothy Vos drove south on Highway 149 when his vehicle traveled off the right side of the road about a mile and a half north of Connelsville. The car then struck a fence and rolled over before ejecting Vos.
A paramedic pronounced Vos dead at the scene and his body was taken to Travis-Noe Funeral Home in Kirksville.
The Patrol reports he did not wear a seatbelt at the time of the accident and the vehicle was totaled.
The Adair County Sheriff’s Office, first responders, and ambulance, as well as the Putnam County Sheriff’s Office, assisted.
