A Pattonsburg resident was hurt when the minivan she was driving was hit by a car east of Maysville on Highway 6.  Twenty-three year old Annie Rissler was taken to Cameron Regional Medical Center with what the Highway Patrol called moderate injuries.

The accident was Friday afternoon at the intersection of Highway 6 and Route D, five miles east of Maysville.

Ms. Rissler was northbound on D, attempting to cross Highway 6, when her minivan was struck on its front drivers side by an eastbound car on Highway 6.  The driver of that car, 18-year old Slade Hahn of Cameron, was not reported hurt.  Both vehicles were demolished.

The Patrol said Hahn was not wearing a seat belt.  It was not immediately known whether Ms. Rissler was using a safety device.
