Fundraisers are scheduled at two different locations and times in Trenton tonight to benefit two local organizations.

North Missouri emergency services, which has a softball tournament next month, will have a spaghetti supper tonight at the First Assembly of God Church in Trenton.

Serving is from 5 until 8 o’clock at the church. It’s an eat and pay what you want event with proceeds designated by the emergency services personnel to benefit the Backpack Buddies food program for eligible children attending Grundy county schools.

Sesquicentennial Park at five points in Trenton is the location tonight for music, ice cream, and a movie. Trenton high school is to have a “pep band” performing at 8 o’clock. The band boosters will offer home-made ice cream in exchange for a donation.

Citizen’s Bank and Trust sponsors a movie around 9 or 9:15 tonight. “Believe in Me” is described as a movie about a women’s basketball team. There’s a limited number of benches in the park so persons attending are asked to take lawn chairs or a blanket.
