The driver of the car, 47-year-old Daniel Hays, received minor injuries and declined treatment at the scene according to the highway patrol.

Investigators indicated the car and a truck were approaching each other at the crest of a hill on Highway 24. The front left portion of the car collided with the trucks’ towed unit. The truck was driven by 33-year-old George Hill of Clifton Hill.
