Trenton man injured in accident near Laredo

The Missouri State Highway Patrol is reporting injuries to a Trenton man who was involved in an accident when he attempted to miss a deer in the roadway.

Twenty five year-old Matthew Edwards was transported to Wright Memorial Hospital with minor injuries.

The accident occurred Thursday, May 5th, three miles south of Laredo on Route V, as his northbound car ran off the right side of the road, hit an embankment, then went through a fence.

The car received moderate damage.  Edwards was not wearing a seat belt.
