A Trenton man, 48-year-old David Cooley, has been charged in Grundy County with violating an adult protection order.
Cooley is accused of sending multiple text messages and calling multiple times to a person he was prohibited in contacting by a Grundy County Circuit Court order. He is also is accused of passing two insufficient funds checks.
Cooley was being held in the Grundy County Detention Center on bonds totaling $6,500 cash only.
He’s to appear December 27 in the Associate Division of Grundy County Circuit Court.
